Gaggle Community Standards

Being part of the Gaggle community is a commitment to respect: we respect each other, ourselves and the rules. When we all share mutual respect, we all win. Here's how we make that happen and what we expect of everyone using Gaggle.

Section One

Respect yourself

Staying safe is more important than being the best.
Use good judgement and consider the risks before you go flying. Use common sense, stay in control and don't put yourself in danger. Rather be on the ground wishing you were in the sky than being in the sky wishing you were on the ground.

Don't get distracted by your device.
Focus on your surroundings and prioritise your safety. Use your device when it's safe to do so.

You have a right to keep your life private.
You have control over what your share on Gaggle and can choose the settings that suit you best.

Section Two

Respect each other

Be kind and play fair.
Be courteous to others. Respect the rules of the sky for the region you are flying and don't disturb the people that are on the ground.

Be kind online, too.
Treat each other with empathy and kindness on our platform. Take care of each other.

Keep offensive content off Gaggle.
We rely on our community to help us identify this content. Use our tools to block or flag content that violates our Terms of Service. Considering contacting law enforcement if needed.

Create and post your own content.
We support the original creators of content. Respect what they made and create your own content. If you post or say something that is not yours, know that it nay be removed in addition to other consequences you may face.

Be inclusive and anti-racist.
Gaggle is committed to actively dismantling and eradicating racism and discrimination in all forms. If you use Gaggle, you're joining us in this commitment, without exception.

Don't use hate speech.
Hate speech is a direct attack based on race, ethnicity, age, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, serious disease, disability, body type, or immigration status. We will remove hate speech and may suspend or terminate accounts of athletes who use it.

Section Three

Respect the rules

Obey the law.
We expect pilots who use Gaggle to know and obey all laws and rules related to their activities. We share the skies with all kinds of pilots flying their respective aircraft and we need to make sure we obey the laws that are there to keep everyone safe. Prioritise everyone's safety and enjoyment of our shared resources and respect the law.

Follow local site rules.
Many places we fly from have their own rules and codes of conduct. Know them, follow them, and respect others that are sharing the same environment. Stay in control and take care of the environment around you. Do the right thing and be an ambassador of your sport.

Respect the environment.
Don't ruin the experience for others or yourself. Take don't leave trash at takeoff/landing sites. If your sport makes a lot of noise respect those around you and fly away from populated areas. Don't trespass on private property and jeopardise protected areas.
